Pros

Good Bonus package 28+ days of annual leave

Cons

The company does have its strengths, and there are areas where people can thrive. However, if you’re eyeing a role in the Finance team in Romania, you need to be fully aware of the toxic leadership culture that has taken root there. The same upper management has held control for nearly 18 years, and it’s a case study in how long-standing power can erode healthy culture. What was once a functioning, collaborative team has shifted into a bro-culture where promotions are driven by loyalty and personal allegiance—not merit, performance, or potential. If you’re not a yes-person, your career growth will be limited. Disagreeing with upper management—whether in meetings or even through the supposedly “anonymous” employee surveys—comes with consequences. Retaliation is real, targeted, and far from subtle. Harassment can be drawn out until you either conform or go quiet. I spent over 12 years in that environment. It took me a long time to piece everything together, and leaving was the best decision I could have made. If you think this kind of feedback comes without reflection after more than a decade, you’re missing the warning signs. Progress often starts with one decision. Mine was to walk away. If you’re considering this team, think carefully about whether you’re joining a place that nurtures growth—or one that punishes it. Bottom line: Be wary of the Romania Finance team. Your career and well-being deserve better.

Pros

The company is very proffitable, pays decent salaries and is growing significantly.

Cons

The company presents itself as a place where diversity is promoted and protected by producing the necessary policies, organising events and producing promotional material on this topic. However, as a dissabled person, I found that the company was unwilling to provide me with key reasonable adjustments on a timely basis and HR ignored my request for support when I informed them that my manager's management style and destructive criticism were affecting my mental health.
