Pros

As a new employee at Focus Camera, my experience has been very positive so far. The onboarding process was clear and thorough, giving me a solid introduction to the company’s culture and expectations. The HR department deserves special mention for their exceptional support—they've been incredibly helpful and responsive, making my transition much easier. The whole team is friendly and supportive, which makes it easy to learn and grow here. The managers listen to your ideas and make sure everyone feels included.

Cons

The amount of PTO is somewhat limited, and it would be great if there were more days available for rest and recharge.

Pros

I am given the opportunity to run my own business within a business. I feel valued as a trusted business partner. I have the autonomy to make well informed decisions and I am always support by the management team.

Cons

While I am flexible to change, I would like to see management include the team more when making decisions that will impact the entire company.

Pros

Early fridays but that’s because they observe shabbat.

Cons

They change policies and even benefits every half year and youre likely to get walked over regarding benefits. Truly one of the most unnecessarily stressful places i’ve worked at. They will gaslight you into thinking you have to absolutely do other peoples jobs. Management has no structure and their is no process for project intake. At whim you can be asked to do a million things unrelated to your job role. Underpay and the CEO belittles so many people. It’s truly uncomfortable and they threaten you if you tell them you’re quitting so beware of retaliation because it has happened to numerous previous employees. Everyday it was like walking in egg shells if management was there. They let you take PTO for jewish holidays but even though they say you can use it how you choose if the CEO finds out you took off for your own holiday he will say sly remarks. Glass door states Abe is CEO but it’s his son in law who acts in as CEO. Nepotism is heavy here.
