      In my experience the managers were pretty flexible and understanding if you talk to them

      The split between the buyers and everybody else is real

      Pros

      Online retail is really competitive - the team at Focus manages to exist and do well despite this because of impressive creativity and grit. This is a great environment for learning and growth. It can be a great place to be for a long time if you enjoy the competition of it. Because you will likely interface with the owners of the company regularly, you can make things happen quickly with levels of bureaucracy that round to zero.

      Cons

      Online retail being so competitive doesn't leave much room for slack or time trying something without results - these aren't inherently bad, just not for everyone. Some of the biggest shopping days are also close to holidays, so one should at least expect to be on call for these.

      Pros

      Small enough where you have direct access to upper management who's always willing to talk to you. HR is very professional and again easy to talk to about anything

      Cons

      The benefits package could be a little better.
