Pros

It is a great job to have as a first time experience and there you will find fun people to work with. Also, it is an easy job to do.

Cons

They give you few hours to work and have poor management in general

Pros

it is really easy to get a job there. There really are not any other pros to working there than that.

Cons

It's a dead end with little chance of promotion, they make very few people full time employees, if one is not a full time employee you better be content with minimum wage or close to it, they offer no health benefits, The union that we have does nothing when an issue is brought to them, At my location during the winter there wasn't adequate heat and it was freezing in the entire store this was brought up to both management and the union and nothing was done. The scheduling is also a mess and many peoples preferences for scheduling are completely disregarded. Every time minimum wage increases they cut hours and employees end up taking home what they used to or less than before minimum wage increased. Everyone is expected to be on their feet for the duration of their shift and this includes Seniors and Pregnant women.
