      Open Door Policy and Human Resources Department is a Joke

      Great working Environment Flexible Hours and Shifts Opportunities for advancement

      Compensation is terrible for the work asked Human Resources department are not 3 party unbiased as stated in Manuals and Policy Open Door/Appeal Policy is a joke. Any complaint or objection is sent to HR; HR is there solely to support the Store Manager group and does not evaluate all facts or complaints made by associates

      Food Lion has lost its roar in the retail food industry thanks to its own nonsense.

      A paycheck, Great associates and customers to interact with on a daily basis.

      Cons

      Lack of communication between service leads, managers and fellow associates about the proper procedures of doing everyday tasks. Many of those procedues also slowed down day-to-day operations and wasted valuable minutes between associates and customers.
