      Pros

      Easy job and you don't need any experience to get hired.

      Cons

      I worked at food lion for 3 1/2 years and was given numerous promotions yet never received a real raise. The largest raise I got was 15 cents an hour. Bottom line is what you get hired at is pretty much what you will make until you quit from frustration, this may just be my store/district but nobody that i worked with there was happy about being there.

      My experience was fine for a while but Food Lion is trying to find itself and their niche in the grocery industry.

      Fair Pay Better than average Benefit Package customers great loyal and dedicated associates A vast number of tenured associates Overall a great group of team players amongst the store leadership team

      It;s an unstable enviornment to work in because Food Lion is trying to find their niche in the grocery business and investing it's future in their Bottom Dollar concept/
