      Pros

      This role is consistent with a buyer or merchant role at a retailer. To be successful you need to be comfortable with numbers, excel and be able to accurately hit financial targets in balanced/responsible ways. If you like interacting with others, projecting shopper interests, negotiating and staying busy this might be a good role for you. They have a good BRG program and inclusion team.

      Cons

      Though it has been discussed for years, there has never been implementation of a planned way to cover work of those that are on vacation or on leave so it falls to teammates. Those that are strongest or have the most knowledge are consistently handling more (or too much) workload compared to others. Very little career progression. Entry level and very seasoned professionals all have the same title while working at very different levels. The "Analyst" title in general needs to be reviewed as it is a catchall and not up to date. The attempt to create opportunities for progression are not sufficient and are biased in implementation.
