Pros

I like the people- you have a lot of hard working people who want to please customers and achieve common goals. Most management and leader positions are filled with competent good people who want the organization to be successful and staff to be taken care of. They will work with you as an individual if personal things come up, need temporary change in schedule, etc. a lot can be learned in a short time and a hard working person can move up, but it will be tough/hard work. High turnover can open up positions quickly to move up if you can hang in there.

Cons

Challenges are that good intentions and will of management can't always be executed. It's a growing company with small company mindset. Extreme micro managing from the top- owner. They hire competent people, but then don't trust them to do their jobs and keep the corporate resources minimal and over worked. This is a tough industry, food has low margins so pay scale in general is low, hours have always been long, schedule is tough and not conducive to any family life. Super lean staffing causes long hours and no pay for those hours since all but lowest tech position is "salaried". Most management and supervisors don't clock hours and work 55+ hours and are paid low in comparable jobs out on the market. If you worked your way up, your pay will be lower than being hired from the outside, considerably. Benefits aren't great, pay isn't competitive, hours are long. If you can handle it, you can work anywhere.
