Thank you for your comments. As a small business we strive to take care of our employees. A few of our benefits include: FSNS provides all employees with Short-term disability and Long-term disability and also pays well over 50% of each employee’s health and medical insurance with a great provider in Aetna. Employees receive up to four weeks’ vacation which can be carried over. FSNS offers a companywide 401k plan and discretionary annual bonus for qualified employees. Also, further education that benefits FSNS is paid in full with an A and B grade average. Yes, our industry requires us to be open 24/7/365. I truly appreciate all that each employee does for FSNS, otherwise I would not have the benefits mentioned above. We have many 5 year plus employees who we value greatly. I wish you the best in your future endeavors and if you are still employed at FSNS I would welcome the opportunity to have a further conversation with you. Thank you for your comments and your time at FSNS. Sincerely, John Bellinger CEO

Very political and secretive

Pros

This company was understanding regarding illness and time off.

Cons

Everything is very gossipy and political. You never really know what is true and what isn't. Many things take place "under the table", which is ironic for a company who claims to value transparency.

Thank you for the feedback. I am sorry you feel the company is 'political' instead of transparent. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this directly with you. Thanks again -Heather

Pros

Not hard work and good experience for future jobs.

Cons

I used to be proud of the company, but with new management the lab has taken a turn away from the great qualities the company used to represent. There was always a strong emphasis on the positives of further education but the new manager doesn't care about that and now people are afraid of pursuing higher degrees out of fear of school interfering with work and losing their job. It also doesn't matter how minor the issue or mistake is, they will make a big deal out of it and blow it way out of proportion. The changes that are being made due to these issues are making simple things a long process that isn't fixing any problems.

Your feedback is very important. Pursuing further education is also very important – and one of the reasons we offer a tuition reimbursement program at FSNS to employees who pursue degree programs tied to our business. In fact, I’ll bet your LM will share that he plans to pursue classes in the near future as well. So, it seems there may be a bit of a disconnect on this issue. I encourage you to talk with him and/or give me a call to discuss further. Next, processes, policies, standards, customer expectations and needs evolve over time – and hence our business evolves over time as well – and this is inclusive of your lab. Our customers demand consistent, accurate and timely test results – there is really no compromising here. If you have worked with FSNS or in a laboratory/testing business even for a short period of time you understand this. I highly encourage you to actively listen to the requests and changes needed, learn and embrace them and actively engage. In the end, this is all about employee engagement and customer service. At FSNS, we strive to create a culture where our employees are valued and engaged. I hope you take the time to have a discussion with your manager to discuss your concerns or contact me directly to discuss further. Thank you. Bob Cox, SVP HR.
