Pros

- Great if you're desperate and need a job - Good way to get experience on your resume - Most people there are friendly - You get to take food home that would otherwise be thrown out - Lots of room to learn if you ask the right people - Time goes by fast because there's always something to do - Ops manager is a reasonable, decent human being

Cons

- Benefits get stupid expensive if you have a family. - Feels more like a fast food job than I would've hoped. - Lots of repetitive tasks - Super understaffed - Work culture boils down to "be a slave to the company so they don't have to hire more people" - LM has questionable morals, but we manage

Pros

Work independently No need for experience, entry level job Great coworkers Gain lab knowledge Alright pay for starting out w/o experience Supervisors try their best

Cons

Management of employees is lacking and take improper care of issues Management is never in main lab to help out, interact, or lead by example They don't give raises or promotions often, if really at all Lazy employees are babied and can do whatever they want while the hard workers bust their butts High turnover rate Desperate for employees that they hire incompetent people and then don't see over them but leave everyone else to Mandatory overtime constantly, no care for actual schedule Some employees weren't given their raise and review after the probationary period for months after and had to keep asking about it before anything was done Management takes forever to do anything about issues, if anything at all
