Pros

No chance of being fired

Cons

You’ll find your workplace starts reminding you of a toxic relationship. You hate it but you’re too dedicated and addicted to the chaos to let go. You hate it but get a small reward and it’s a little bit better for a while. One major con is that it does not get better the higher you get. It only gets worse. So even if you do move up, you face possibly never being able to live a life outside of work.

Overworked, Underpayed, AND lots of FOOD GRINDING

Pros

A lot of young adults who are using this as a temporary job before their professional career. The pay is okay, $14/HR isn't BAD, but definitely not worth standing all day and being overworked.

Cons

Unfortunately, the management is very weird. I respect the VP, but the supervisor(s) need to learn how to maintain a less toxic environment. Career advancement is not really worth it when the bump in pay is literally only a dollar added to your hourly pay - which is ridiculous considering most people here hold bachelor's degrees. In my opinion, they underpay and overwork their employees. They also minimize the fact that the vast majority of your job consists of grinding food, they try to glamorize it by emphasizing other job duties - but the cold truth is, you'll be grinding food.

We work hard to hire the very best and it would appear we thought you were the right fit for us, but apparently that was not the case. We provide opportunities for training, growth and development for all employees. Our goal is to create a culture where our employees are happy, engaged and appreciated. I wish you the very best on your new opportunity. Thank you. Bob Cox, SVP, HR
