I’m sorry that you did not find FSNS a great place for you. I certainly wish you the very best in your future endeavors. Further, I would be happy to talk through your concerns via phone so that we can properly address them - we work hard to create a culture where our employees are happy, engaged, challenged, and growing. Incidentally, (pre-COVID) Regionals and various corporate leaders visit the labs on a fairly regular basis, giving employees various opportunities to voice concerns. All the best to you. An okay company to start out with.

Pros

The amount of testing and products received means you can learn ALOT in just a couple months, which is nice if pursuing a career in microbiology is what you are after.

Cons

The people who have a higher title are not trained for that title. They are given the normal schedule while not doing the work they are titled for. While everyone else is set to work rotating schedules and to do the work they are not supposed to be doing but are the only ones trained to do it. This does not make sense, why should the employee then continue to do the work they are not paid to do and train the people who are supposed to be doing it but fail to do it each day?

Pros

Good team. Liked the people I worked with. Had a lot of overtime which helped with my check. I saw several people get promoted quickly. Company is growing new labs.

Cons

Schedules can change when short staffed. There are times we can work long hours. But I guess that's just business.
