Pros

Staff discount of 30% and 50%(sometimes). Easygoing

Cons

Does not have a role, you do everything. Work Rota comes out very late every late.

Pros

Pretty inclusive, freedom to show up authentically (whatever that looks like), work peers, opportunity to make a middle-ish class wage with little to no education, decent leadership (DMs and above are a mixed bag), proximity to "culture" (shoes, fashion, youth).

Cons

Work life balance is non-existent once you reach a certain level in your career. Opportunities to advance exist, but the pipeline from store to corporate/executive leadership roles is small and difficult to navigate. Pay is NOT competitive at any level, but is embarrassingly low for anything below store manager. Cultish culture (why so many stay when better opportunities exist and are plentiful).
