Pros

Schedule flexibility and some great coworkers. Years ago it was a fun place to work.

Cons

Low pay, increasing work loads with no additional compensation, a merger with Champs Sports where the Footlocker/ Eastbay staff was let go but they are the ones who knew how to use the programs. The skeleton crew that were left had to pick up the slack for the Champs folks who did not want to learn the programs. Whole departments were eliminated with those positions being outsourced to India, and IT to a call center in two waves over the last 4 years. Upper management is caught in their own echo chamber of congratulating themselves on quarterly profits, while failing to understand how that sounds to workers who are not given more than a 2% raise each year which does not keep up with the cost of living or inflation over time. This has been an annual occurrence over the last 20 years. Walmart was compensating shelf stockers more than I was making after over 20 years of employment.
