* Don’t get discount on popular shoes. If a popular shoe is getting released you do not get discount on them which is very stupid since you’re literally working for this company.
* Monthly spending limit for discount for part timers. The monthly limit for part timers is $250 which I find very low. They increase to $500 when they do the annual 50% off weekends. Which I find low especially when you’re getting stuff for yourself, friends and family
* Exclusion list during 50% off weekends. Makes no sense that we can’t get discount on the popular shoes when that’s most likely what you’re looking to buy. Nike dunks are always excluded which doesn’t make sense when they’re not even that popular anymore. If they didn’t make an exclusion list they would get way more sales since more people would actually want to purchase.
* Hours depend on location. if you work at a smaller location you will probably get 4 hours every 2 weeks.
* if your manager doesn’t like you, you literally won’t get hours. A lot of favouritism going on.
* higher ups like district managers expect too much from store managers and employees.
* Training is not the best. they kind of just show you where everything is and how to use cashier & other store devices briefly.
* ugly uniform. Who the hell wants to constantly wear a black and white stripped shirt..? they need to do better. Footlocker employees are known for their sneakers and fashion.
*Glitchy and confusing app for schedule, swapping/taking/giving away shifts. Just use a simple and easy app like Push Employee.
