Pros

Good for part time workers and college students. An introduction to retail. Good shop atmosphere. Great employee discounts, and you come out the other end with tons of knowledge on shoe culture, care, fitting and style.

Cons

Huge pressure on sales associates to up sell and meet crazy targets. Management generally cares very little about worker's well-being, and training is rushed. You have to be very curious in this job or you will learn nothing, and earn peanuts for it.
