Pros

Fun atmosphere. Lots of sneakers. Good discount. Awesome coworkers.

Cons

As an assistant manager I never once received a raise for the 7 years of service I provided for the company. One month your an awesome employee then the next month if your store doesn't have a sales gain, upper management treats you like you don't know how to do your job and constantly threatens to transfer you to another store up to 50 mi from your home. I was also a store manager in waiting for almost 3 years. I was offered one store that was almost 100 mi from my home. When I didn't accept to run this store that is in the middle of nowhere, I was looked at as someone who didn't want to advance my career. But in fact I was willing to take any store that was still somewhat within my city. Ultimately, what was once a fun job to get experience, quickly became a dead end job full of empty promises.
