Pros

I really enjoy working at Foot Locker because it incorporates all the things I enjoy doing in a job - being able to move around and not be in one spot all day, talking to people about training and helping them find the perfect shoes, and selling things. It's also great to be surrounded by tons of shoes if you're passionate about them and always get excited for new releases. Another thing I love about working in Foot Locker is the people I work with. My manager and fellow associates are all awesome people, and they're my friends outside of work too! Foot Locker is a great employer, ensuring a fun job and a comfortable, safe, warming, friendly environment.

Cons

The only con is dealing with rude customers sometimes (when they don't have any manners or are in a bad mood so they take it out on you).

Pros

Teamwork makes the dream work. The community at Footlocker, whether it be the Footlocker you work at or any other Footlocker stores, is much alike to a family relationship. Everyone acknowledges you, respects you, and gives you assistance with anything and everything if you ask them. You can say that the relationships between the employee's at Footlocker are much like sibling relationships.

Cons

No cons at all! Everything positive!

Pros

- positive targets to meet - managers keen to push you through training - commission on the shoes you sell

Cons

- wasn't trained on the tills the whole time I worked there for 4 months - long hours with short breaks (similar to any retail job though) - not many opportunities to advance within the company were offered or told to us
