Pros

*Strong brand recognition *The new CEO seems very sharp *Product discount is generous

Cons

*Datacenter is old *Management is old *Promotions based on whose butt you kiss not talent or how long you have worked there *Anyone with new ideas and any sign of ingenuity is driven out by the insecurity of SR management *VPs fake like they like each other, but the wars between the sites in WSA, MKE, CH are alive and strong *CIO has no IT background- promoted because it was his "turn" *Politics/Two Faced- Everyone talks behind each others back *Unprofessional- the team is so old that you can count on 5-6 people (including Directors and Managers) sleeping through every meeting, lots of yelling and down talking, disrespectful of staff, never say they are wrong , I'm sorry or thank you to staff *Good old boys club, lots of favors for old-timers, too many exceptions to rules for friends *Pay increases rarely happen *

Pros

-discount 30%(if you like shoes enough to use it) -bonuses when week sales are met (bonus isnt really to pleasing unless your in a high volume store)

Cons

-pay is not good, even my manager told me he wanted to leave when I had the assistant and part-time position due to pay - corp gives more work but yet no raise for management or part-time - hour cuts - training through books, but books methods are old so you may be learning old information for nothing - when i was an assistant and part-timer I had bad training experiences with my managers, I dont think I had the best on hands training from them
