Pros

Employee discount 30%, and sometime once a month for about 2 days you get 50% off. Face pace retail, and fun if you like being in a mall enviroment alot. As associates you always get 1st pick at new incoming products.

Cons

Trying to balance work/personal life is hard. Long hours as a manager (45+ weekly plus 12+ hour shifts). It really sucks if you get put into a low volume store because then you have to balance between you and an assistant manager, and if your store is not performing in sales or productivity you could be set up to be terminated.

Pros

No education is needed. You can move up from an assistant manager to managers anywhere fro 1-3 years depending on the relationship with your manager and wheter your manager is highly regarded by your district manager. Progression as a manager can be great if other managers quit are let go you can get promoted quit easily. Suppy and Demand basically.

Cons

As a manager there are times you can work anywhere up to 70hrs. Your are required to only work 35 hrs but communication is sent out to work 45 to 52 hours on a weekly basis. It is not a stable company to start and keep a career if you have a family. If upper management is not fond of you they will try their best to make you in violation of the most minute policy to discontinue your career.
