Really glad to hear you had a good experience overall! It sounds like you had a steady schedule and a positive time while you were here, which is always great to know. We totally understand that pay can be a tough part of retail, that’s something we continue to look at as we find ways to support our teams better. Thanks for taking the time to share your perspective!

Pros

It was a great place for me to gain work experience in high school.

It was not a job I wanted to pursue for my career.

So good to hear that you gained solid experience while you were here, especially during high school. That kind of foundation can be such a confidence booster for whatever comes next. Totally fair that it wasn’t the career path you wanted to stick with, but we’re really glad it gave you useful skills to take forward!

Pros

99% of the people that work at Foot Locker are great, charismatic and hard working. Expect to work for great management with amazing coworkers in stores.

Cons

Unfortunately a lot of higher ups in the company don’t always step up when needed, as well as having blatant favourites and offering empty promises. Whilst the management in stores are usually fantastic, it’s the big bosses in the company that can let you down. A lot of shift leaders have to pick up management slack and are expected to do things they sadly don’t get paid for in hopes of a not guaranteed promotion.

This is such thoughtful feedback, and we really appreciate it. It’s great to hear that your store team made such a positive impact -- that kind of energy is what makes our stores special! We definitely understand how it can feel frustrating when leadership doesn’t always reflect that same support. Your perspective is truly valuable, and we’re thankful you shared it so openly. Thank you so much for your review and the years you spent with us!
