Pros

Well established retailer. Can be fun, upper management is personable and not too uptight.

Cons

Customers can have unrealistic expectations, as much of the sneaker industry can be sketchy with resellers, people bringing back worn merchandise , etc... Many 50 plus hour workweeks on salary. Part timers are hard to retain due to low entry level wages and limited opportunities for promotions. Never any type of set schedule and expectations from upper management will never, ever be met.

Pros

Shoe Discounts, 30% of in NYC to be exact. You also have to put your name on a list a week prior to a new release and if you are a part timer (everyone is when they start until they receive a promotion) then you can pray to the lords above that you get your hands on a new release.

Cons

Favoritism, discriminating managers, terrible hours (talking about 1 day a week with bi-weekly pay). When you hear how much they pay you might catch a stroke and pass away. bi-weekly pay is $6.38 + a terrible 1% commission. Rule of the jungle while on the sales floor, so employees will shove you or run through you to take a sale in the blink of an eye. Cant miss work because of school, they say it in the orientation "I dont care if your grandmother dies, come to work". Definitely not a good place to work, everyone can do much better.
