Pros

Despite the salary contract. You are paid hourly expecting to clock in and out. BUT they won’t pay u overtime. Illegal overnightshifts that don’t adhere to any BC laws.

Cons

Please run for the hills.

Pros

You can create your work environment from the ground up. This is a both a pro and a con.

Cons

Absolutely no work life balance. During peak season if anything falls short everything is 100% your responsibility. Have worked peak seasons with little to no off days for a weeks a time. Those who don’t have this issue typically don’t come in when needed if not scheduled. Those who work hard always carry more weight, but occasionally results aren’t seen unless your store is winning something (sales, other performances etc).
