Pros

Great products and technology vision. Sales conference is cool. Fun co-workers.

Cons

Used to be a good place to work for sales reps. Compensation has dropped while quotas sky rocket. Sales management seems to only care about metrics like how many dials you make in a day. More and more tasks continually assigned that take us away from selling. Something is not working in the sales team right now and everyone knows it. Real shame. I enjoyed my time here but have one foot out the door.

Pros

Great health and dental and other benefits. There are some fun people that work there. Kickoff event it pretty epic as well.

Cons

They don't compensate fairly. High turnover due to lack of effort on company's part to keep employees happy/satisfied. Raises are a joke. Budget cuts while people in upper management make out like bandits is extremely frustrating.

Pros

Salary, location, non-senior management employees. For the most part, the San Diego office is a great place to work. Unfortunately, the tactics (or lack thereof) from senior management trickle down and ultimately effects employee morale. Read the other reviews posted here. There's a clear theme.

Cons

Senior management, politics. C level executives and a number of directors make Websense a very difficult place to work.
