You are on the front lines detecting and responding to real cyber incidents - ransomware, phishing emails, etc. Hands-on with company's proprietary SIEM platforms as well as with various EDR tools like Crowdstrike, Trend XDR, etc. Great peer culture and talented team of analysts and threat hunters. High performing and collaborative work environment. Actively encourage skill development. Provide certificate compensation up to a certain amount. Working across multiple sectors (finance, healthcare, energy) means exposure to varied threat landscapes.

Cons

Knowledge silos exist - limited cross-training between detection engineering/threat intelligence teams and the SOC.

Sorry you didn't get the promotional opportunities you wanted. We have members of the exec staff and vertical market GMs who started as sales engineers and are now at the highest levels of leadership. Most of the current VPs have been internal promotions, not external hires. Internal talent development and promotion is incredibly important to our culture and business success.
