Pros

-The chance to work on extraordinary products that have truly made a difference in the world. -Incredible people across all departments. -Great perks (catered lunch 3x a week, unlimited 3D printing, parking if you’re a car person or a bike room if you’re a cyclist, pets, the fun perks you associate with startups, etc) and really nice offices. -You will get to really own your role here. If you want to break into tech or build out a portfolio of work, this is an excellent opportunity to really do something and build out a career. You will get to make an actual impact.

Cons

-Move fast break things culture, but this has certainly improved over the last few years. -Not necessarily a con depending on how you prefer to work at a hardware focused company, but this is not the place for you if you are looking to be fully remote. RTO is creeping back across offices, so keep that in mind. -Not the best paying place in town. Great for breaking out and building a career, but most people end up moving onto something with significantly better pay down the line after a few years.

Pros

Culture Interesting work Learn a lot in your job function

Cons

Building out infrastructure all the time can be tiresome. Lots of new managers so they don't come with ready-made solutions, hard to make progress in certain areas.

Pros

- Free food/snacks - Catered lunch 3 days a week - new mac or pc laptop - 24 paid vacation days - cool work atmosphere - ping pong table, kicker - yoga classes

Cons

- low pay - colleagues are entitled, majority young with little work experience which creates an environment of constant complaining - some positions are redundant and in order to stay relevant by keeping information private to stay employed (some support in sales, customer service, ops)

Formlabs Response

Hello, Thanks for listing your feedback here: both the perks as the contras. I am sorry to hear that the short time at Formlabs has left you with a negative outlook. We had indeed built a relatively young team of high potentials, however, over this year we have gotten more experienced colleagues on board as well as restructured some teams to make sure we all do the work that is needed ànd valued. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. Annelies, Berlin People OPs
