Pros

Good people/colleagues to work with

Cons

Poor management. You will be gaslighted and bullied by upper management. Meaning they want you to work with 1 team but do the responsibilities and roles of others. There is always a battle for accounts in the SMB/mid-market with your field reps. The corporate hierarchy (reporting to channel sales) does not make sense. The manager of the midmarket team is full of himself and should not be managing the team. He is running it like an inside team when it is not. He will not support his team members/employees. Hense many manager have left and most of the people will stay in role for 1 year and then leave. Many top performers are leaving. If you are looking for a resume builder this is a great role.

Pros

1. Good products and pretty good product vision. Fortinet developed the idea of a security fabric, and the market is catching up with key concept. 2. Flexable work schedule - still no requirement to return to the office 3. Security is a great market to be in

Cons

1. No employee stock purchase plan 2. No corporate cell phones 3. No reimbursement for home office requirements (monitors, office chairs...) 4. Beautiful new HQ - is an open office plan - so no quiet places to work and no privacy 5. Quarterly goals - no long-term perspective, it's all about what wall street expects this quarter - even though the founders own most of the stock 6. Unreasonable goals. MBOs for every product are set from the top with no discussion of the market realities. We are supposed to grow by 44% - with no added marketing budget or headcount 7. No career advancement or mentoring - you are on your own

Pros

Good people for the most part. New building.

Cons

Very cheap company. Making billions of dollars yet only offer 2 pieces of free fruit and bagels 1 day a week. Charge for electric cars even yet costs them nothing. Still won't bring back the ESPP either and not very competitive salary.
