Pros

Sales Engineers are remote workers, and most of the work can be done from home. Schedule flexibility Pay is good (but also comparable to similar roles at other tech companies)

Cons

Nit-picking about every little thing is wearing away at morale. Expense reports FREQUENTLY rejected at first-pass for different reasons each time. Heavy lift of training requirements that is mostly expected to be done after work hours. Very little voice in the direction of products or the company. Large product portfolio, but difficult to get specialist support when needed, especially for first-sale deals Quotas used to be challenging but attainable. Now they are becoming unrealistically high.

Pros

You get to borrow equipment to do more work at home so the company can also spy on you there too.

Cons

Where to begin other then toxic, greedy and untrusting. Dont kid yourself as this is a Chinese company with the same self-serving mentality. If you show any weakness like work/life balance or mental struggles they will fire you. Do yourself a favor and apply to Palo Alto Networks or another tech company that cares. Fortinet will offer you a shiny package and starter pay...work you like a donkey and just when you feel you are secure they will screw you and your family/futures.

Pros

You have a job, and you got paid.

Cons

1. Long working hours and low pay 2. The supervisor constantly engages in emotional manipulation. 3. Although WFH is allowed twice a week, the supervisor keeps pressuring employees to come to the office every day.
