Very impressed

Pros

- I worked two jobs through college to pay for school, and before that I had around 3 jobs. I also grew up playing a lot of sports & have dealt with a lot of different coaching/management personalities. To an extent I thought this was too good to be true in a lot of ways, but I have to say I am very impressed with everything. There is no sugar coating it, you will work hard, but you will be valued and rewarded for the work you do. Very little favoritism. -This place is simply impressive. There are people from all different kinds of backgrounds, but I have found that there is one central theme: "We will grow, but we will grow the right way with the right people." The leadership team treats people the right way, and you can just feel that vibe on a day to basis. - There is a lot of potential if you are good & the company perks are great. - Free corp apt if you move to a new location, you get a car & cell allowance in sales.

Cons

- The challenge is being able to process information while being productive at your job. You will learn a ton while here, but at times in the beginning you will feel like there is a fire hose to your mouth.

Shady Companies, Bright Comments

Pros

A good facade, plenty of awesome comments, amazing ratings.. It must be a great place to work, to make money, to evolve. They love you, the treat you as a human being, they become a true family.. Well, I would say if you are really desperate, you can't find a job for a long time you have nothing to loose, they will give you some opportunities to work..

Cons

Well, if Fortitude being perfect is the case than people wouldn't struggle to get into Google.. They would all run to get into Fortitude System!! But this is not the case.. A company that spends time and money on creating fake profiles in Social Media just to get employees, instead of spending time and money on attracting customers and building products has definitely something wrong.. And the big question goes around your head: from ALL these people that have seen the company and left, not even one made a bad comment??? Well, in order to see the company you'll have to sign an offer letter and in order to leave the company you'll have to sign a release document.. Something in that release document with a clause of $20 to $30 thousands if you talk negative about them must prevent them of doing so.. The real question is what kind of a company doesn't have any bad comment??? Common, even paradise has negative comments..

I didn't take advantage

Pros

A year ago, I was let go from Fortitude. At first, I was upset about it, I blamed them. Since then I have worked at 2 different companies, and I regret not taking advantage of my opportunity there. In my last two jobs: the first, no opportunity for growth (they constantly hired outside of the company- Fortitude never did that.), and the 2nd (my current job, which I am looking to leave) I am a number in 20,000 person company. Some people are ready right out of college to get serious about a career @ Fortitude, I wasn't. I check up on a lot of my friends there, and I firmly believe that firm will do great things.

Cons

My only con is I wish I was given a longer leash, I know I didn't always give 100%; but if they gave me a couple more years, I believe I eventually would have gotten it. That being said, I understand their decision and wish them the best of luck.
