Pros

The Fortive Business System is great and will teach you skills you can use throughout your career. FBS office is awesome and contains some of the most talented people in the company. Culture is collaborative.

Cons

The company has lost its backbone - no longer a winning culture where results matter. It's like living in a Bob Ross painting, with fluffy little trees... If you are an A player, want to win, and care about equity/stock that has some value to it...then I suggest you look elsewhere.

Lots and lots and lots of training

Cons

You will work for the shareholders You will have no work/life balance Your pay will be linked to the leaderships opinion, not your performance or inflation You could wake up and lose your job, you could wake up to a promotion, it’s that chaotic Management is top heavy and highly disconnected from reality. Growth and Profit metric expectations are unrealistic and forced at all costs, that cost includes you and your salary.
