Pros

Great sponsor to work with, FTO, very competitive salary (compared to other CROs I have worked with), supportive Line Managers who care about your growth, and great team leaders on study teams. They try to keep you regional the majority of the time.

Cons

DOS metric, very hard to meet DOS metric if you are a CRA 1 and as a CRA 2. Sometimes, the work can be tedious, but it is not hard (like doing rocket science, etc.). I liked it more when it was Labcorp Drug Development. I feel like the spin-off could have been held off and done later (due to the economy, high interest, etc.).

Working with Fortrea for almost 3.8 years have been really phenomenal. It gave me lot of support and explored me as Leader through many certifications and special company linkedin access and thus making me to shine both in terms of project and people management. I would like to work with Fortrea again in future. Thank you

Cons

There are no cons about Fortrea. It respected my decision and allowed me to open the doors for the new opportunity. After having 9 years of experience in CDM and 3.8 in Fortrea, I am blessed to get opportunity to climb the ladder by receiving seat in one of the reputed MBA universities in Republic of Ireland to pursue my MBA in Project Management. This pathway would also explore and gain more knowledge in handling projects where it would be additional advantage while working back in the field of clinical industry.
