Pros
It's a job, that's all.
Cons
Must be a family member or friend of management to get good pay and good paying jobs. For a company that leans on its lower income employees so heavily they are not paid or treated fairly. If you are a minority worker it's even worse because you WILL be paid and treated poorly. Your hours will be cut all throughout the year so that management can get their bonuses while customers freight is being processed by overworked and underpaid dock workers. Friends and family of management constantly get thier hours and good paying jobs and positions at all times. The last dagger was taking away weekly pay to getting paid every 2 weeks. At the top Forward Air looks fine but at the bottom it's hard to survive on a daily & weekly basis working here and trying to make a decent living. Hourly workers struggle 2 weeks at a time while salary positions live like kings. Fairness doesn't exist here unless you're connected to someone looking out for you.
