Pros

Overall a good company. Offers fairly competitive wages. Offers alright benefits (most notable are good time off policy and company matches up to 6% for retirement account). The company and supervisors allow for employees to have the ability to work independently and in the fashion you believe works best for you. All of the people that I have worked with are good people and care about the participants they serve. Company culture is positive and supportive. Higher ups seem to genuinely care about the employees they hire and their experiences working with the company. Higher ups are always open to suggestions and ideas. The company has the ability to assist others in the community by assisting them with employment search, gaining job readiness skills, and assisting with employment related expenses to help the community in which they operate.

Cons

A lot more admin work than in previous case management positions. Sometimes it feels like most of admin work is busy work (but most are dictated by state regulations). Most of my experience has been during times of Covid-19 restrictions, but I do wish there was more ability to engage with participants. If you are looking to be more active in your caseload's lives, this agency which is geared more towards referring participants to other programs than taking the active approach, may not be the right fit for you. I do think that the inclusion of Transition to Success, Map of my Dreams is trying to alleviate this criticism though. Initial onboarding could use work as well, there were skills that I don't think were taught to me in onboarding. I have felt as well that I have been told conflicting information about how to complete certain tasks such as when audits are completed on cases. Overall, the pros generally outweigh the cons.

Thank you for your review! We're happy you're enjoying the benefits that come with working here - the PTO policy only gets better as you're with us longer. We're working diligently to make the required paperwork easier to complete, so be on the lookout for some improvements there soon!

Pros

Care about staff, manageable case loads, supportive team leads and staff, lots of training, ability to grow in the company

Cons

All necessary documentation can take up a lot of your time, cases are reviewed and "scored" by QA and many times it is not consistent.
