      Pros

      FSC is the place to work if you truly want to make a difference and change lives. FSC prides themselves on helping others reach their full potential and it's great to be able to live out this mission every day. Leadership, including corporate leadership, do an excellent job at coaching and helping their staff reach their full potential as well and make an effort to always hire within for advancement opportunities. In addition to this, as an employee you receive an awesome benefits package including ample amounts of PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, 6% 401K match, vision and dental insurance. The pay is also competitive.

      Cons

      As in all human service work, there will be difficult days. You will hear difficult things and sometimes customers fail. However, the good days always outweigh the bad days and the bad days make all of the customer successes that much sweeter.

      Pros

      FSC gives a generous eleven paid holidays. Their 6% 40lK match ranks higher than most employers. I work with wonderful, caring people and I feel FSC makes a difference in clients lives.

      Cons

      The "Pros" help swallow the sub standard medical/dental coverage.

      The mission brings me to work every day

      Pros

      I am motivated by the mission. Alot of companies say they make a difference, but we truly change lives, one person at a time. I am so proud to work at FSC!

      Cons

      Being grant funded, we cannot provide everything to everyone, so employees need to make sure they take care of themself emotionally. Not all situations will be successful so we need to celebrate all the little wins.
