Pros

If you love kids and love being in the water, this job if amazing. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed teaching my kids and getting to know them and watching them grow and thrive. The pay is also not terrible.

Cons

It’s almost impossible to take time off. Management doesn’t care whether you’re sick or need a personal day— any time off is considered a write up. Finding a sub is a requirement if you need a day off, and sometimes that can be practically impossible, especially if you have additional training.
