      Pros

      Great pay and management team. Coworkers are very friendly and everyone is close. Once you have a few months of experience and find your teaching style the kids really latch onto you! Schedule is predictable and the same every week in approx. 3 month increments.

      Cons

      While the pool is one of the most gentle I've been in, it takes a toll on your skin after 20-25 hours a week. A lot of enthusiasm is required, which can be very draining after a 5 hour shift. Schedule is rigid, and finding people to cover shifts can be difficult.

      Pros

      You're able to get creative with your lessons It was a fun environment overall Seeing your students (of all ages 6months-60yrs+) overcome their fears of the water and grow into a strong swimmer was super rewarding I'm a mermaid so loved being in the water

      Cons

      Constant need for high energy, which is difficult when you have no breaks in between lessons and are burnt out Constantly being in the chlorine burned my hair Entire site clean up at the end of night shift could be exhausting after a long shifts
