Pros

Lighthearted usually fun atmosphere. Freedom to do your job most of the time and mostly friendly people to work with.

Cons

Fun until you had to train your foreign replacements, getting kicked to the curb while trying to help the company get current on technology. Turned into 6 months of the most caustic environment I have ever worked in. It was a 180 degree turn in a matter of weeks for the environment.

Access to global trend information, access to graphic training. Fossil is in Texas, so they relocate and pay well to get the best talent.

Cons

They are in Texas, HR is not effective, appreciated and nurture the individual strengths and talent of your creative staff. Remember the loyalty of long time employees.
