Pros

Work from home. Nothing else

Cons

Sitel is like a big high school all over again. There is always drama and a lot of unprofessionalism. The higher-ups always overdo their authority Sitel has a high turnover rate! Sitel pay is extremely low wages. Sitel cannot keep a campaign. Sitel tosses you around after every training class to another campaign. Sitel does not appreciate its current employees (agents). Sitel always screaming they offer Paid time off (PTO) but you have to wait 6 months for it. Paid holiday start at 6 months. You are only given 3 hours per check after 6 months... Sitel does not promote agents, Sitel only keeps you as an agent. Sitel only offers 3 counseling services per year. This is unfair because if you decide to work at this company you are going to become mentally drained. You are given a 2 15-minute break and a 1 30-minute lunch break. Sitel does not accept doctor accommodation or do right by the FMLA they state they offer. Sitel never tells you when new tasks are placed on jobs. Training is extremely short and they do not allow you to ask anything. They never tell you are doing great or show your accomplishments. They only tell you the bad you are doing. If I could give a 0-star rating I would! Sitel allows their agents to get harassed by their management team and customers. Sitel does nothing when you are reporting concerns. Sitel management team is extremely lazy and never answers your support questions. Sitel working from home equipment is always nasty. Sitel expects everyone to purchase new equipment and does not do reimbursement. Sitel has sent numerous pieces of equipment out and it caused issues in my home.

Thank-you for your honest feedback. It is good to know the issues, so we can attempt to fix them. We are implementing more anonymous surveys as a way to checks the pulse and see where we can improve. We also do regular market analysis to stay competitive. I have to politely disagree that we do not promote agents. I started as an agent myself and have been promoted a few times. We do offer chats and help articles after training, so nobody is alone. Having issues with the equipment, that is very frustrating. Thanks for letting us know some of the issues, and we will send this up the ranks to see what can be improved.

Pros

Working from home was the only pros at this company.

Cons

This company is not for the weak or for anyone that has morals. This company make promises to you during the interview process that they will never follow through. When i interviewed for this company, they acted like this was a put together company and it's a wonderful place to work for. In reality it's the opposite. Any ways this company don't give out raises, no bonuses and no incentives. Your paycheck will be different every time. I felt like my paycheck kept being shorter and shorter every year. The Team Leaders don't take calls whatsoever, which i never heard of. They barely do any work but micromanage us. They system is always having issues and they will not pay you if you are out due to the system issues. Back-to-back calls, long calls with angry members and split days off during open enrollment. You do a lot of work for a little of pay. The health insurance they provide the employees is awful. The only thing i did like is working from home and learning more about insurance. Other than that, i don't have any positive comment to say about this company.

Pros

work from home, opportunity to get P&C licensed, work with some really great people from other geographical areas

Cons

no sick leave, very little paid time off, no incentive for performance, no advancement opportunity, ridiculous metrics, lack of training once in production, chaotic nesting and training, HR ticket process is horrendous if you have any issue with pay or benefits, inept IT support, lack of personalized "anything" - you are just a number until the next one comes along
