Pros

Fountain offers a nationally recognized (through NCCER) Electrical Apprenticeship Program for their employees who are wanting to learn more about the electrical construction industry. If you are interested in learning more while also working in the industry look into joining our team!

Cons

A flex work environment would be an added bonus for administrative staff when needed for unforeseen sickness, care giver situations, or family emergencies.

Trade standard benefits at certain positions.

Cons

Nearly every facet of who they are and what they do. Unqualified management (especially in the Charlotte area). These are people not only beyond their depth in knowledge and positions of leadership, but unfriendly and “click” based. There are no health benefits for full families, PTO is accrued and not distributed as a whole. The company is not Charlotte based. Most leadership is based in Rutherford county (Spindale NC) and is atrocious. There is no culture or team environment. The company is split into multiple departments. You are unable to build your own electrical rooms, pull your own wire, run your own underground. It’s all ran by highly unmotivated and unprofessional leadership that very rarely even sees the actual job sites (maybe 2-5 times through a project).
