Pros

Home time. You know your routes a week ahead of time. Fairly compensated. Excellent paid time off program. Paid holidays. No company dash cams. No micro management. Many routes are the same customers which makes things easier.

Cons

Some nyc routes and backhauls. Tight docks at some customers. Some customers require off street unloading. Deliveries to unplowed country stores in the snow. Some drivers receive more favorable routes despite experience or time at company.

Pros

Associates are friendly and usually very helpful with one another. Most of the leads are easily approachable when needing help.

Cons

Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. The management clearly has NO CLUE what’s going on out in the warehouse yet are quick to point fingers when something goes wrong. Half the management is arrogant and power hungry while the other half will actually help get things done if push came to shove. No leaway when it comes to being late...if you’re ONE MINUTE late it still counts against you. A lot of companies give 5 minutes simply due to clocks not being universal and in sync. There is no feedback given to employees until their review then they wanna point out all these things wrong and terminate the associate. Like why not tell the associate along the way how they need to improve. Can’t fix what we don’t know is wrong. Not clear on or do not let expectations known on the loading dock. Racism, sexism, and favoritism is evident.
