Great Employees

Pros

The employees in the warehouse are great. For the most everyone of them are very helpful and get along. The hours are there to work. Pay is pretty good

Cons

Long hours working in cold weather. Management has their pets and the only thing that matters to them is what they have to say. They have no clue how the work is done on the floor nor could they even begin to do the job. There is no respect for their employees unless your a pet. At which point the pet can go to management and lie about others and that's all it take. That person is then targeted and wouldn't be working there to much longer. You pretty much work every holiday except for maybe Christmas and New Years. Management is always changing things and never ask ALL the employees for the options. The employee turn around is a lot. They are always having to hire new people because to many quit because of how they are treated and to many are fired because a pet doesn't like what's going on. I know some employees who work there for 10 or more years got treated like crap and for a minor mistake they fired them on the spot.

Pros

Associates are friendly and usually very helpful with one another. Most of the leads are easily approachable when needing help.

Cons

Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. The management clearly has NO CLUE what’s going on out in the warehouse yet are quick to point fingers when something goes wrong. Half the management is arrogant and power hungry while the other half will actually help get things done if push came to shove. No leaway when it comes to being late...if you’re ONE MINUTE late it still counts against you. A lot of companies give 5 minutes simply due to clocks not being universal and in sync. There is no feedback given to employees until their review then they wanna point out all these things wrong and terminate the associate. Like why not tell the associate along the way how they need to improve. Can’t fix what we don’t know is wrong. Not clear on or do not let expectations known on the loading dock. Racism, sexism, and favoritism is evident.

Pros

A lot of overtime, GREAT comradery between co-workers on the floor (seriously, amazing people on in the warehouse!), very safety-oriented.

Cons

Corporate doesn't listen to or value employees, makes decisions without hearing out employees. Certain shifts are valued more, while other shifts are thrown under the bus constantly. Employees are forced to work holidays (for only being a warehouse job), and rules are enforced stronger only when it's in their best interests. Hardly any room to climb the career ladder here, they hire outside the company most of the time with management. Pay is mediocre at best for the job if you have lots of experience. Management barely does anything to help us, they tell us to stop talking and work, but they talk all the time. They constantly put guys who have seniority on assignments that earn less money, and keep other guys who are newer on assignments that earn money, very, very unfair.
