Pros

Great training program, nice locations, free stays at other properties (if approved, which is rare now compared to 10 years ago).

Cons

Very long hours, pay structure is low for managers - especially asst. managers, in order to be recognized - you must brown-nose, you must sacrifice your beliefs and family in order to get any recognition or promotion. Management will always strive for best customer service no matter how bad they treat their own employees.

Pros

Looks good on your resumes. Top quality locations/properties. Your friends and family will be like "Wow, you really work for the Four Seasons?"

Cons

You become a robot and it's all about whoose ass you kiss the most. Phoney people work well with the phoney management. Don't bother having an opinion about anything not in there already established culture because you will be shot down. The pay is average, nothing to write home about, and the hours suck. They are so strict about there labor budget that they will sacrifice guest expirience to save a few bucks on overtime and when you're having your guests pay that kind of money it just doesn't work.
