Pros

Fourth has a strong position, experience, and time in their market. Fourth's unique value proposition in a market that needs an all in one solution is bound for exponential growth. Fourth's recruitment works seamlessly with the operation. Linda was able to accurately convey the culture of the company and kept me informed throughout the process. She was even the first face to greet me during induction. Induction (Orientation) was hands down the most genuine I have ever experienced. Simon Bocca (CEO) was there to personally deliver the the core values. Ben Lee (DO) reinforced those values sharing some of his own experiences.

Cons

The location is a substantial commute, but I knew this when accepting offer.

Pros

Very few pros come to mind, there were some great people on the individual contributor level I worked with across multiple teams however many left or are on their way out.

Cons

This is a highly toxic and disorganized work environment. Leadership’s lack of knowledge, direction, and experience is apparent. When I started, leadership was disengaged and disconnected to everything. I noticed there was a sudden and obvious change in leadership’s approach where “urgent” asks from above were being requested with little to no context. Unrealistic and changing expectations started being communicated as the norm. This caused confusion, chaos, and burn out, resulting in extremely low morale across teams. Concerns and feedback were either ignored or people were penalized/suddenly terminated for speaking up. Lastly, it doesn’t go unsaid there is no work life balance or professional boundaries here. This is a work environment that sets people up for failure and can have a serious impact on overall well-being.

Pros

Fully remote Unlimited PTO Work/Life Balance is there

Cons

Constant lay offs and re-orgs happening. It wouldn't be unusual for your expected job duties to suddenly change during a re-org. Products are siloed and no cohesion between teams that support them on any level.
