FOX has a mentality that everyone is part of a "family". This mentality gives the employer power over the employees to overwork, under pay, and under appreciate their employees because they say "Hey, were a family and family helps family when they need you!" This mentality can seem great at first, but then come the calls and texts at 6:00am on Saturday morning. There is an expectation that you will answer all questions that come to you outside of work hours. And for a company that severely underpays their employees, it is almost a joke to see how much they expect from their employees on their personal time.
However, they do compensate you for being overworked, under paid and under appreciated by providing a taco or pizza lunch once a quarter (more often if they have taken the sales reps on a cruise or to Hawaii--to make it seem like there is a consistency in "Sharing the Profits").
