Pros

Open and transparent culture. Leadership takes ownership of failures. Top management has some really brilliant people. People are courteous and polite - I've worked for companies where screaming matches were routine. Bosses would openly insult subordinates causing frustration and anxiety. I've never experienced that at Fractal. No layoffs during the pandemic.

Cons

The company can be a better pay master for people working in support functions. Career growth for folks in support function has not been given much attention.

Exposure to a client facing role as well as potential to develop career for a fresher

1) Really poor middle management - Allocation of resources is a huge problem for the company. I was forced to accept a role by the staffing team and told that I'd be facing bad consequences if I did not. This has resulted in me (a Data Scientist) working on supporting/reporting projects with no learning for the past 8 months now 2) Weak Team/Project Leads - The project leads are completely spineless in terms of points of view towards analytical integrity of the projects. They agree to whatever the client's demands are without thinking about being a client partner rather prefer just being a slave 3) There has been politics even at the Consultant level regarding ownership of work/promotions
