      Decent place for a paralegal

      Pros

      The people are great, and they really know their stuff. Attorneys and paralegals work well together, even if there can be little support for junior members. Helping people. The pay is great. Interacting with people from all over the world.

      Cons

      The massive layoffs weren't fun. The work is very repetitive and can be stressful. Not much room for advancement without going to law school. The fluorescent lights are punishing, too.

      Pros

      The people that work at Fragomen make all the difference. They are friendly and extremely helpful. You can ask any member of the office for assistance and people there make the effort to help you in whatever way they can. There is a sense of community among the employees. Lastly, management is very approachable and concerned on work/life balance of all employees.

      Cons

      Very stressful environment and little room for advancement.

      Pros

      The team environment is enjoyable because there is a lot of collaboration and people work together relatively well. If you work hard and are very proactive, you will get promoted. Benefits are great. The 401k program matches 33% of your contribution. Very casual environment.

      Cons

      There is some disorganization among the senior management, which leads staff members to be under time pressure consistently. We promise a lot to the client, which also leads to a lot of pressure on the staff. The firm could be more generous with incentives, like employee recognition and staff lunches.
