      Pros

      Great work environment, friendly employees, flexible work schedule and leaders who truly care about your success. Management does not micro-manage and allows employees to make their own decisions.

      Cons

      On-boarding could have been improved. Being such a large company, there are a lot of systems and policies and I felt somewhat left on my own to discover them.

      Corporate Culture that Cares

      Pros

      This is an exceptional place to start a career. Many people who currently work here have been an employee for 20+ years. The individuals who work here have a hard work ethic, are willing to help and want to succeed together; the company in its entirety is host to a positive employee culture while maintaining strong corporate values. There is indefinitely pride in who are and our mission to provide protection to policyholders. It is wonderful to work for a company that invests in its people through continued education opportunities, welcomed snack/walk breaks and a willingness to provide flexibility with family/work-life balance.

      Cons

      The company is extremely conservative in its spending, a bit "behind on the times" compared to other carriers and too methodical in its decision-making on items that do not warrant lengthy consideration. It feels that Leadership is too detached from the front lines in order to make swift decisions which hinders effective communication and understanding of a project's true goals. Though, this is not necessarily a fault as it is reflective of their commitment to making the best decisions possible for our company, its employees, policyholders and independent agents.

      Pros

      We are a provider of Property & Casualty Insurance. We work with outstanding agency partners and have some of the best people in the business at our company. We strive to provide the best service to our agents and their customers. Our best corporate assets are our fabulous claims service and our people. We live up to our promises and this is why I am so proud to part of Frankenmuth Insurance.

      Cons

      We have a number of internal meetings, not unlike other organizations, however we need to continue to work on becoming more efficient and using everyone's time more effectively during these meetings.
