      Pros

      I started my insurance career about 30 years ago, and for the past 20+ years I've been employed at Frankenmuth Insurance. I continue to choose to work here for many reasons, but overall it is due to the quality and character of the people I work with. For the most part, individuals employed here are dedicated and smart, committed to putting forth their best efforts. Over the years I have witnessed many talented individuals be promoted to areas of greater responsibility. Frankenmuth Insurance continually invests in their workforce. Career opportunities are enhanced by encouraging employee to pursue insurance designations (free of cost), participate in free onsite workshops, as well as take part in a college tuition reimbursement program. The Wellness committee promotes activities throughout the year designed to inspire us to live healthy lifestyles too. My personal experience has been positive, and I feel my work is valued and appreciated.

      Cons

      On the other hand, there are some deficiencies too. Upper management appears to be slow to make decisions, which comes across as being indecisive. Also, typical of most work places, there are individuals in leadership roles that withhold information to use for their personal advantage. However, this action generally ends up being detrimental to the corporate long term goals. Employees tend to stay here for their entire career. Individuals who have left frequently reapply to return to their former positions. Although the grass is not always greener, the pay is. Many people are lured away by higher salaries.

      Pros

      We are a provider of Property & Casualty Insurance. We work with outstanding agency partners and have some of the best people in the business at our company. We strive to provide the best service to our agents and their customers. Our best corporate assets are our fabulous claims service and our people. We live up to our promises and this is why I am so proud to part of Frankenmuth Insurance.

      Cons

      We have a number of internal meetings, not unlike other organizations, however we need to continue to work on becoming more efficient and using everyone's time more effectively during these meetings.
