How long will Frankly stay in business?

Pros

Good work life balance. You'll find the place deserted by 6.

Cons

We're all concerned, and frankly, most of us don't believe the company will survive for much longer. Frankly went through yet another round of layoffs in February, letting go some of the company's most hard-working and talented individuals. This layoff impacted a quarter to a third of the employees. The promise of new business never materializes, and initiatives that the company took to secure investors failed. The market that Frankly is in has no growth potential. Where is Frankly headed given the lack of funding, talent, and any idea of business development?

Unethical business practices

Pros

Great place for free snacks and isolation. The staff can be really friendly during happy hours since they work extremely hard to the point of alcoholism.

Cons

The business practices of Frankly Inc are misleading and malicious. After their acquisition of the original platform and related departments, they gradually removed all important resources in order to reduce budgets. Their competition has slowly been absorbing all of their business leaving them to sleep with their board members. The CEO has no involvement on day to day operations, they are void of diverse ethnicities and secretly plot against employees by withholding evaluations of progress. Overall this is a terrible place for any one trying to develop a serious career. It maybe best to freelance or seek opportunities elsewhere.

Greedy Leadership

Pros

The people were the best part of the job. Lots of talent for a moment there, many leaving to work at top companies.

Cons

The downside of a startup culture is a complete and utter unawareness of good process, unless you have star leadership coming from good experiences. Most of our upper management was comprised of salesmen - good at talking, bad at execution, but great at playing that game long enough to leave with a lot of cash. Shady promotions and layoffs.
