Pros
Good place to start a career, One gets to learn a lot in the first 2-3years. Every once in a while (5-10%), your work actually makes it into the real world, and when it does, it is rewarding.
Cons
Bureaucracy slows you down — administrative processes and internal approvals are time-consuming, often leaving less room for actual research. Less International Friendly. Work culture is very hierarchical, like a university. Beyond 3 years, the learning curve stagnates.
